On New Year’s Day, a television journalist from South Korea created major headlines around the world as he found the scandal-hit Korean “horse girl” in a village in the northern part of Denmark. Instead of making a stand-up with the news, he went to the local police with his knowledge. I met him in Seoul several months later and asked him why.
